What is the Kanpai Panda NFT collection?

The Kanpai Panda collection is a set of 10,000 hand-drawn NFTs that are designed in a stylistic manner and can be found on various chains such as Ethereum, BNB, Polygon, AVAX, Fantom, Arbitrum, and Optimism. The Kanpai Pandas team has collaborated with LayerZero to launch their project on 8 different chains, which is a technological advancement that will change the functionality of NFTs.

From this collaboration, a new cross-chain transfer portal will be provided to enable a seamless omnichain experience without having to deal with different block explorers across networks. By simply entering the token ID and destination chain, the NFT can be transferred. There were 2,000 Kanpai Panda NFTs that were initially minted on the Ethereum blockchain. The price of minting each Kanpai Panda in this initial round was 0.11 ETH, which means was around $400 for each panda, at the time of minting.

Then, the team released a second round of Kanpai Panda NFTs that was held on April 22, 2022. This new round of minting consisted of 7,000 Kanpai Panda NFTs, which is more than three times the number of the initial mint. However, to take care of the new holders’ wannabe and keep the price similar to the initial minting price, each Kanpai Panda NFT in this new round of minting was sold for $400 USDC.

Before the second minting event, was announced that Kanpai Panda NFTs minters could pay using BNB, however, they had to pay using Binance stablecoin, BUSD.
