In fact, CryptoPunk 7523 holds the title for the most expensive Larva Labs NFT ever sold. This particular NFT sold for a whopping $11.75 million at a Sotheby's auction.
Larva Labs Cryptopunk, the 7523, is one of the rarest alien punks in the collection, with three unique attributes that only 4501 other punks share. Of these, 419 punks, including 7523, wear a knitted cap, and 175 also wear a medical mask. However, it's the gold earring that truly sets CryptoPunk 7523 apart, as it's shared by only 2459 other punks in the collection.
Interestingly, a bid of 20.4K Ethereum, equivalent to $87.64 million, was made and later withdrawn on October 29th, 2021, suggesting that even higher prices can be on the horizon for the rarest Larva Labs CryptoPunks.
